Here is a shield inspired by the Suramar location in World of Warcraft.

The model is made in Maya, the texturing in Substance 3D painter (hand painted). The reference gathering was divided in two phases:

The first part was composed of screenshots of the area, architecture features, color palette and even more direct elements like weapons.
The second part was a simple collection of shields to get an idea of how wow shields are made
